2022-24 License Renewal Cycle

For the 2022-24 renewal cycle, licensees must complete at least three hours of the required 14 hours of continuing education in a topic that covers the responsibilities of the broker and the responsibilities of their licensees in regard to property management, advertising and general supervision. View the Real Estate Commission’s special notice.

Coursework must be completed between June 1, 2022, and May 31, 2024.

  • All Licensees

All licensees (that are not renewing for the first time) are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education and must include at least three hours of the required topics.

  • First-time License Renewal

Real estate licensees renewing for the first time must complete a specific set of continuing education modules through an approved education provider. These include two seven-hour courses: the General Module and then, depending on their practice, the Residential Module or the Commercial Module.

  • Licensees Who Are Licensed After Dec. 1, 2023

Real estate licensees who are licensed less than six months prior to the renewal deadline are exempt from the continuing education requirements for the first renewal cycle. However, licensees must still renew their license.

  • Pre-licensing

You must complete the Real Estate Fundamentals and Real Estate Practice courses to become a real estate salesperson. Learn more about how to become a Realtor®.
