REALTORS® Reach Out Receives National ASAE Award

The Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® has been honored nationally by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) for its participation in REALTORS® Reach Out Week. More than 2,200 REALTORS® across the Commonwealth participated in the statewide initiative during October 2008. Twenty-seven local boards/associations donated $28,335, collected 5,500 pounds of food and contributed 1,000 pieces of clothing to charitable organizations. REALTORS® reached out in their own communities to help Pennsylvanians less fortunate. They concentrated their efforts to meet the specific needs of their communities through volunteer efforts, clothing and food drives or monetary donations. Members also refurbished homes, cleaned up local communities, held auctions and donated blood. The associations partnered with charities needing the most assistance.
