Volunteers Needed

REALTORS® who have used the Agreement of Sale New Construction (Form A/S-NC) and the Agreement of Sale for Vacant Land (A/S-VL) forms are needed to serve as volunteers on two new subcommittees. The subcommittees which are part of the Standard Forms Oversight Committee will work on revising the forms.

12 Standard Forms Revised

Twelve PAR standard forms will be revised following the approval of the PAR Standard Forms Oversight Committee in May. These revised forms are all addenda or contingencies related to the residential Agreement of Sale.

The approved revisions are not major but are related to various formatting issues. For example, several have been changed from the legal-sized to letter-sized format and others have been revised to reflect language changes made to the residential agreement.

The revised forms will be introduced over the next several months as inventories of the current forms are deleted. The first to be released will be the Receipt of Documents (Form ROD), which should already be available, and the Post Settlement Possession Addendum to the Agreement of Sale (Form POS).  Look to future issues of The Pennsylvania REALTOR® and to the PAR web site for information on other upcoming releases.
